Carroll University overall is a great school. The professors are extremely nice and considerate to everyone in the class. They're understanding; if you need extra help, they will set up a time that works for you. I do not know much about off-campus housing, but the on-campus housing is one of the best schools I've seen. The custodians work hard to keep it clean, and the facilities work great. No matter what you are into, Carroll has something for you. They offer copious sports options and clubs. There is something for everyone.

Chloe - 12/22/2021

My overall opinion of Carroll University is that it is a good school that clearly cares about their students and their futures. This is shown in several ways, from your advisor being a professor that teaches your major, to the required CCE trip that evolves you into a more cultural person, to the ten free therapy appointments a year. The professors are always available to the students through an email, which shows that not only the school cares about their students, but the people who are teaching and encouraging learning care as well.

Kennedy - 05/20/2021

It could be a little more diverse and more protection of all students and not just some. I attend and sometimes I do not feel the safest but I do get through the day. Some teachers are very cool and some have this demeanor towards me. But it gives me motivation to move forward and push through to get my degree.

Isabella - 01/31/2021

Carroll University is a place where you are encouraged to learn and grow. The campus is small, but there is still plenty to explore. The food is delicious and there are a bunch of options in case you’re picky. There are numerous places on and off campus to hangout with friends. There are 45 orgs, 23 athletic teams, and 5 clubs sports you can join to get involved. On-campus jobs are a great way to make a little money while in school. Carroll is full of amazing people. I hope you get to meet Gert, the grandma of Carroll.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would let myself know that, although college is a whole other game than high school, don't be in such a rush to experience everything. I've only been here a year and a half and it is flying by! Don't be afraid to do something spontaneous, to stay in one night, or to be smart and study ahead. You're number one priority in college is the education your parents are so unbelievably kind enough to pay for, do not waste that opportunity; but at the same time don't be afraid to do things on weekdays, you will never be able to when you're old with chlidren and responsibilities. Be young, be smart, be sassy, be the strong, independent girl you were raised to be. Make people PROUD (including yourself).
