Butler Community College never ceases to shock me. The first time I walked inside, I felt like I was walking through a sad prison. Now, it is a place that I look at and see memories that I've made. I've met a lot of extremely kind and funny students there. The students are very tight-knit, and I am even a part of a group chat with the other liberal arts students. Every first day of class I have been terrified that the professor would be mean, only to find the most caring, fun, and adorable teachers ever. Butler offers so many resources too, such as free counseling, free tutoring, a food bank, campus police, and amazing-smelling food. Butler Community College really cares about its students, and I am proud to be one.

It's a good school! I learned a lot and it's the same classes as University just cheaper. The faculty are kind and always willing to help you. The class sizes are quite small and I love it. It makes it easier to get closer with the teacher and needed help. Everything is cost-friendly like health benefits and computers free to use. The cafeteria is nice place to study, it's not loud. Big spaces to eat with friends. Limited menu.

Butler Community College has been the best choice in all honesty. I was one who wanted to go straight to a 4 year university but being able to work on campus and receive a scholarship, having small class sizes, and being able to drive back home are big games changers. The teachers are always willing to help you and they actually call you by your first name because they are able to create a relationship that many 4 year colleges instructors cannot.

Butler is a wonderful starting school for students just getting out of high school or going back to college to seek their degree. Butler is a community friendly college that takes pride in safety and student-to-student relationships. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere. It was inviting when I went on a college visit my senior year.

The kind of person who shouldn't go to Butler is if you are looking to be an communication sciences and disorders major, like I am. I would not apply because Butler does not supply courses in relation to that major. All they have is speech communication degrees, if you want to be a speech pathologist. However, since I am going to be a transfer student, I am in Butler just to take my general education requirements out of the way, than transfering to WSU or OU for my undergraduate and graduate studies.

  8. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

I would have to say the most frustrating thing about school would be all the homework you are expected to do along with working and having children. This would be the reason lots of individuals give up and don't go back. All students have bills in there own way and they have to get paid some how and we don't get paid to go to school so inturn this means college students must have a job to support themselves.

Butler Country Community College is a great school. It is a great school to start at. This school teaches students right out of high school what college is really like. This was very useful myself a current college student. The teachers give students a work load that would be similar to what a bigger college would give. This helps students prepare for universities, or state colleges.
