The Thomas W. Porter, W8KYZ, Scholarship Honoring Michael Daugherty, W8LSE is open to international and U.S. licensed radio amateurs (technician class or higher) who attend accredited two- and four-year colleges, universities, and trade schools. Students must be residents of Ohio or West Virginia.
Albert H. Hix, W8AH, Memorial Scholarship
This award is open to international and U.S. licensed radio amateurs (general class or higher) who are residents of and attending school in West Virginia. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Steven G. King Play Environments Scholarship
This scholarship is open to international and U.S. students who are in their final two years of undergraduate study or are in graduate programs at a LAAB-accredited institution. Students must be studying landscape architecture with a demonstrated interest and aptitude in the design of play environments.
Landscape Forms Design for People Scholarship
This scholarship is for international and U.S. students who are in their final year of full-time undergraduate study in landscape architecture at a LAAB-accredited institution. Applicants must show a proven contribution to the design of public spaces that integrates landscape design and the use of amenities to promote social interaction.
ASLA Council of Fellows Scholarship
This scholarship is open to U.S. students who are in their third, fourth, or fifth year of undergraduate study in landscape architecture at a LAAB-accredited institution. Students must be members of ASLA and demonstrate financial need.
Nancy Penn Lyons Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to Georgia high school seniors with demonstrated financial need who have been accepted for enrollment at selective private or out-of-state institutions (students attending public Georgia institutions ineligible). Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and an SAT score of 1000 or higher or an ACT score of 22 or higher.
SREB-State Doctoral Scholars Program
This award is available for U.S. minority students who are currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program and planning to pursue a career as a professor.
American Electric Power Scholarship
U.S. college sophomores or juniors enrolled in an mechanical engineering or related program are eligible for this award. Preference will be given to students who are interested in power engineering and/or who reside or attend school in the American Electric Power service area of Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
LTU Bulldog Out-of-State Fee Waiver for Incoming Transfer Students
This award is for U.S. and International students who are planning to attend Louisiana Tech University as an out-of-state transfer student. Students must have complete at least 12 semester hours of college credit and have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
