FPHA Undergraduate Scholarship
Students seeking a Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Public Health or a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in the field of Public Health may apply for an FPHA Scholarship which will be presented at the FPHA Annual Conference. The scholarship is for a free registration to attend the conference and a one-year membership beginning July.
Ellen M. Buchart Scholarship
The Ellen M. Buchart Scholarship was named in memory and honor of the late Ellen Buchart whom served Kentucky Public Health Association (KPHA) as a past President. This scholarship will be administered by KPHA in the amount of $2,000 and is payable at the rate of $1,000 per semester paid directly to the student’s school.
Ted Hanekamp Scholarship
In 2006, Ted was inducted into the University of Kentucky College Public Health Hall of Fame and also very active in the Kentucky Public Health Association (KPHA). This scholarship will be administered by KPHA and the amount will be based upon funds raised by KPHA and matched by UKCPH not to exceed $10,000 each calendar year.
Erin Aaberg Givans Memorial Scholarship
The Erin Aaberg Givans Memorial Scholarship is available for female graduate students who are majoring in a degree related to public administration, healthcare administration, or healthcare policy. Applicants must attend a college or university in California and must plan to pursue a related career within the state.
Arkansas Public Health Association Scholarship for High School Seniors
This award is available for high school seniors in Arkansas who plan to major in a field related to public health. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate unmet financial need. Applicants must become a student member of the state APHA organization (student memberships are $5) to be eligible.
NEHA/AAS Scholarship
This award is for U.S. students majoring in environmental health who are enrolled in an approved college/university that is accredited by the Environmental Health Accreditation Council or is a NEHA Educational or Sustaining Member School. Catherine E. Philbin Public Health Scholarship
This scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate students who are legal residents of Massachusetts. Students must be studying public health. Applicants must submit a completed application form postmarked no later than March 1 and other needed documentation listed on the provider site.
NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program
U.S. undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional financial need and have a grade point average of 3.3 or higher or rank in the top five percent of their class are eligible to apply for this award. Students must demonstrate a sincere interest in pursuing a career in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research.
