It is an amazing school that encourages creativity and strong academics. I am proud to go to school here and grow in my faith and learn about so many things from very talented professors who really care about their students and the subjects that they teach.

I LOVE MACU, it’s like being at home, everybody supports and helps you. They never leave you alone, and always offering help. It’s not like they throw you everything and tell you to leave, no they sit down and explain everything to you and if you don’t know or understand something they explain it in many ways for you to understand. I love MACU, there home.

I love this school and will continue my education on to my graduate degree, Master's in Business Administration with focus on Healthcare. I would highly recommend this college to anyone who is interested. They have classes on campus and also online.

Natalya - 03/26/2019

When I first came upon the campus I fell in love with all the room and environment of the campus. I wanted small class sizes so I would not feel like a number when I came to a college. So, when I began my journey I was a little shaken up and disappointed that not all of the students had the same morals as I had. Which was the no drug policy on and off campus and it seemed like every other student ignored that moral. The student life administration does not seem to be helping this problem either by putting them on disciplinary probation. In my opinion some of the decisions to help those with drug problems needs to be more of a support group then a punishment.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I wish that I could go back and discuss the future with past Nathan. First thing I'd say to myself is to stay focuse and not let the trouble of life get me down or sidetrack me. Next, I'd tell myself to get myself orginized. I've alway haad an orginized chaos about me. It is so important to get things straight so you know when and where things are do in college. I was not good at this during my first attemp at my post high school career. Also, I would let myself know how important it is to set aside a time to do study and complete homework. This has been one of the most important things in my suceess. Lastly, I would have to let my past me know that I need to get a support group. Whether it be friends or family it doesn't matter I just need to surround myself with people that will lift me and encourge me to be a sucess in life and not just live for the now.

The staff does not really work well with you or other students. They are not very organized and tend to pass you around when something goes wrong. There are also a lot of people who work there who are family so when one messes up the family member is there to cover for them.

  7. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

The most frustrating thing is that, even though small class sizes can be beneficial and helpful for one on one instruction more often, the campus can be too small at times. I love the personal environment that we have, but it can grow wearisome when all you hear is from the same people. That is one aspect I wish we had more of is a diversity of people and more of them.

Honestly, reflecting on my time spent at the school, I can't say that I wished I would have known anything else. They are still there for me and I felt as though the information and direction I began when I started has not been lacking up to this point.
