Methodist University has the best student environment. Everyone, including the staff members are friendly, energetic, and passionate at the University. They strive to achieve thier goals, and strive to be helpful and kind to eachother. Our international program is really what sets this school apart from other schools, it shows that we are not afraid to be diverse and open to other cultures, religions, etc. Methodist University wants everyone to succeed and our student body really shows that spirit through abd through! I am honored to be attending this school. My experience so far has only been a posotive one.

Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!
I think that Methodist is unique in its ability to provide an indepth education on many aspects of life, not just the subject matter being taught. The care and attention of all the professors as well as support staff make it easy to navigate the sometimes confusing steps that mut be taken in order to be admitted, register, take classes and so on. From the business office down to the secretaries for individual departments, everyone cares.

Any person who wants to obtain a degree in a varying range of fields should attend Methodist University. Methodist offers the Professional Golf Management program which helps students to become a PGA golf professional. Methodist is one of only a select few schools that offer this program. This school has a sort of small town feeling because it only has about 2,000 students. The weather in North Carolina is also beautiful.

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
the worst thing about my school is the cost, i almost was not able to come back this semester because it was so expensive, luckily i got an RA position and was able to come back. but overall i love everything about this campus it is perfect for me. the roads and buildings seem kind of old though and could use some work but other than that there is nothing i strongly dislike.

What are the academics like at your school?
Classes are small, with only 15-20 students being the most common "huge" class. But most classes are smaller than that. Their isn't a whole lot of drama and everyone gets along like family within the buildings and around campus as a whole. There's a lot of class participation, even from students who don't like to talk a lot (I used to be one of those students who just sat in the back of class and stayed quiet during high school.) Students are competitive here and they also like to help boost other students up as well. I am currently majoring in Graphic Design and I love my department and the students and professors that make up the building. We are like one big family and we often hang around each other even outside of instructional time. The classes are't easy, but you definitely walk away with more understanding of the subject and with improvement.

What is your overall opinion of this school?
It's an awesome school, I absolutely love it! It's not a big school, the classes are fairly small. That's a plus because your professor gets to interact with all of the students and help them achieve their goals. The campus is very clean and it has beautiful landscaping; they just added a whole lot of trees, bushes, and flowers around campus too, adding to the look of the school. The most frequent complaint about the school is that is costs way too much to attend, or to stay. It is a private university, but it's one of the better education quality and safest schools in Fayetteville. The only problem is is costs over $30,000 a year and the tuition continues to go up every year. So most people have to settle for the other colleges around Fayetteville instead or go elsewhere.

What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
"Rich folk" is the most common stereotype. It's not necessarily true, but people do have money to be able to go here, or they're taking out HUGE amounts of student loans to go/stay here.
