great school

Notre Dame is not just a university but it is also a home away from home. Aside from the already known facts about the superior academics, Notre Dame also has a great culture even without the Greek life and a diverse student body. This university is definitely one of the best universities out there.

The reputation of alumni connections and job placement had been a selling point for me to attend. Its all smoke and mirrors. The only students getting job placements are those with parents connections. If your a first generation college student, you have no professional connections, and you are not employable. No job no interviews and loans. My sibling attended our state University for nearly 1/5 of the cost, and had a full time job offer his junior year. What a joke

Madeline - 12/03/2020

I love Notre Dame! It was my dream school ever since I was 12, and it has exceeded every expectation. The dorm life is unmatched, and the campus community is really wonderful. Everyone is super friendly, and the academic atmosphere is not competitive at all, which was a big relief for me. Your peers are always down to work together!

  20. Tell us about the sports scene on campus.

Ummm...DUH. We're NOTRE DAME! Only the most famous college football program in the nation. Yes, we have been in a slump. But that doesn't stop any of our school spirit! We still have over 100,000 people on campus every football weekend. Notre Dame Stadium, which holds 80,795 people, has been sold out for every game for the last 20 years. Let's not forget our other sports! This last year, Womens Soccer and both Mens and Womens Fencing were National Champs. Hockey made it Frozen Four, Mens Lacrosse made final four, Womens Basketball made it to Final Four, and Mens Basketball participated in March Madness. We are an athletic powerhouse! About 80{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of ND students played a varsity sport in high school, so our campus is really active. Lots of students play interhall sports for their dorm, which is very recreational. We also have club level sports that you have to try out for.
