What kind of person should attend Western Washington University?

Sarah

There are many types of people who can attend this school. While I'm not a fan of blocking people into a "type" based on personality and habits, I do believe almost anyone who is very self-motivated and serious about getting a good, well-rounded undergraduate education should definitely go to WWU. Liberal-minded people will feel most comfortable here, but conservative-minded people will still find the community to be a friendly one despite some differing viewpoints of the local people. Anyone who wishes to go into science should also be encouraged to attend WWU.

Someone who is laid back and enjoys people should go to Western. Western has a very chill environment and encourages students to be themselves. Most people here make an effort to help the environment or the community in some way. Everyone is interested in learning and making new friends with diverse interests. Thats the best part about Western, is making new friends who teach you new things.

Western Washington University is very, very liberal. If a person wants to attend this school, they should already recycle or be willing to do it. They should also have an interest in frisbee, hiking, and thinking for themselves. Fairhaven in a school within the university where students build their own majors, which shows how open minded and flexible the people who go to WWU are. WWU is better known for its theatre than its athletics, so I recommend an interest in the arts rather than sports, although my school takes part in all kinds of sports.
