Most of the people here are easy-going, friendly, and are accepting or others. I have seldom met someone unlikeable on this campus. This campus is also full of people who are environmentally conscious, to varying degrees. If you don't recycle, be prepared to start when you come here! That's just the start of it.

Anyone who enjoys a small town environment, smaller more intimate class sizes, and friendly/welcoming people. Someone who doesn't need fraternities/sororities to make friends and enjoys being outside. Someone who doesn't mind the rain or snow and has a drive to succeed.

This school is great for a person with an open mind that is looking to really improve themselve as a person and really become an aware/ concerned citizen about the world around them.

Someone who loves nature and is open to different kinds of people would be most comfortable here. There are many different kinds of people at Western, and the biggest commonality between them all is their openness to new ideas and different kinds of people. Not everyone is going to like everyone, but individuality is very blatant.

Liberal minded students who know ahead of time what area they would like to major in (if they want a 4 year program).

Someone who wants a relaxed atmosphere, a size not too big and not too small, and wants to live in an area with plenty of outdoor activities.
