Overall I think WITCC is a great place to get your base education if you are not pursuing a trade program. Although the location is not ideal it is still a great school. For trade programs you can earn free tuition too depending on the program you are enrolled in.

I am attending WITCC because it has been the only college I have gone to. WITCC has been a good experience for me and all the staff there are very friendly, they are always there to help you with anything and everything, all you have to do is ask. They make you feel welcomed and they accept you. I enjoy my time at WITCC because the staff there make it feel kind of like home, you don’t have this nervous, awkward feeling when you walk in, like when it’s your first day at school. They make you feel like you have been there for a very long time. I am attending WITCC because they staff there make it an amazing experience and it’s fun and very educational. I have learned a lot through WITCC and that is why I want to continue with my education through WITCC and nowhere else.

Would not recommend to anyone, school only cares about taking your money. The RN program is self teach, they don’t teach you anything. Cash Bratetic is the worst one of them all. I’m sure he’s a good bedside nurse but not cut for teaching. Won’t help you or anyone, he’s there for the paycheck only. Doesn’t like you asking questions in class. Never met anyone like this before, please save your money and go to a RN program that cares for the students. The DON kelli is a joke not sure why she’s even in the position. She doesn’t care either and it reflects on the lowest NCLEX-RN pass rate in the whole state. Don’t believe? Google it.

Witcc is a good school, amazing classroom with good facilities, enthusiastic teachers, funny and friendly students, affordable tuition. The overall expansion is quite perfect. The class is very comfortable, quiet, suitable for spending time studying.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I?m 24 years old now. I dropped out of school after the 1st semester of college. The first thing I would absolutely have to tell high school senor self is, don't major in Biology. It?s too hard and you'll flunk out of college would tell myself "You know what your passion is and has been since you was 6 years old, playing school with you stuffed animals. Fran, major in elementary education and be a teacher.? As for college life, I would have to tell myself to spend less time at BCM and a lot less time socializing with your friends. Studying should be my main priority and that is what my time should be spent on. BCM is still important. You do need to have a little down time, but not all the time. I'd also remind myself that I have chosen to room with one of my good friends which means, I really need to work on compromising with her. I?d tell myself that college is fun, but you?re going to learn and better yourself. You have a choir scholarship and it?s not that hard to blow it.

  11. What kind of person should not attend this school?

People who aren't able to take their work seriously. This campus doesn't have enough staff on center to have in-person classes, so many of them are either online or through satellite. Individuals who are easily distracted, or who are prone to distracting others should take their focus and put it primariy in online classes if they wish to enroll. It is a small branch campus, so everybody knows everybody, as do most people in the town. It should be treated as a small community.

  12. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

It's hard for me to find anything frustrating to say about the school or the program I was enrolled in. However as strange as it may sound I found the weather in Sioux City to be the only major thing I found frustrating. Never lived in below zero weather. Fortunatly I had made friends who were used to it and they helped me become more able to deal with it.
