I love what I am studying; Natural Resources and Freshwater Studies, and I would like keep going with my education. My first semester in college I was in the Natural Resources Law Enforcement but I did not like my classes so, I changed my major to learn more about the science in Natural Resources. I am glad I did because I fell in love with everything I was learning. My grades and GPA have been on the raise even since. At the end of my first semester my GPA was 2.80 but at the end this last semester it was 3.70. I feel that I could make differences in how we manage our resources with the raising population.

Being able to come to school has given me much experience. I have grown in many different ways including academically, mentally, and I feel I am taking those steps into becoming independent and self-reliant. I have learned to prioritize my life so that I can manage to balance academics, extra curriculars, and just hanging out all at the same time. I entered college with so many expectations and I learned that they are all possible if I but take the time to make them happen. I have also learned to organize myself. I came to college a messy teenager not able to keep my room and my life organized for more than a day and not I make keeping my room in order and my life and school work organized a priority and I have never been so happy. I think the most important thing i've taken from school is that yes it is definitely hard to leave home and start this new life ,but we are here to learn and grow and make something of ourselves and that this chapeter in our lives is only but a moment so we need not let it pass us by.

For the short time I have been in college I have gained friendships, life skills, and knowledge.
Oftentimes I am a quiet person and so I find it difficult to talk to others. However, the people I have met and talked to in college have been kind and open towards me, helping me feel like I belong.
I used to always depend on my parents for everything, but now I have become more independant and able to take care of myself. It's not always easy or pleasant, but it's one of the most essential and valuable things I have learned.
It may be a no-brainer, but one of the biggest things I have received is knowledge. The knowledge and skills I have deloped and will continue to develop will help lead me into my future carreer.
School is not always wonderful; however, it's extremely valuable. College is leading me down a path of discovery. I am learning who I am and what I want to become.

My name is Benjamin Nwakanma,. Yes, college is a bit tough sometimes, but it could also be a way of learning about life.
This is my second year in college, and I can proudly say that I have learned a lot of things (academical/nonacademic). College has taught me how the real world works, and how to haldle different circumstances that may arise. It has also taught me that there are different kinds of people out there, and of course, how to handle them.
College is very valuable to me because it is shaping me for tomorrow.

Attending college has been a very valuable experience. There is more to a college education than just attending school. I have gained knowledge about my major from the classes I have taken, but I have also learned a lot about myself. I've learned how to be responsible for my own actions and take care of myself. I've discovered how to better interact with people and make new friends easily. I've improved on my study skills and how to be a better student. I've learned how to manage my time and be able to sort my priorities. I've have developed patience and compromising skills by living with other people. I've found new interests and have really realized how much I love to do certain things and hate to do others. I would never have been able to figure that all out without going to college! I don't regret my decision to go to college at all! It was probably one of the greatest decisions I have made in my whole life that will effect the rest of my life.

Utah State is a college all in its own. It is located in an environment rich with opportunities. It employs professors who care about the education their student is receiving, and will work one on one to ensure that concepts are understood and learning is improved. The endless opportunities to go to someone and ask questions is what has helped make my college experience so valuable. There isn't a question that I have had that hasn't been answered by someone of higher authority. There is help and support everywhere I turn, and for that I am grateful. People care about each other at Utah State, and that is what makes all the difference.

My college experience actually seems like it will benefit me in my career and in life. As opposed to high school where you feel like nothing you learn is going to be useful or relevant to real life issues. During class or in an on-line discussion I always seem to receive new in interesting information. Growing up in my house, my parents have always said, “Don’t be like us and wait until you are 40+ and try to obtain an education.” They have always claimed that every generation is supposed to better then the last and that I would have a better future if I went to college. College is the place where I could to put all those speeches to rest.
When considering my future, I think of the house I would like to reside in and the type of lifestyle I want to live. Furthering my college education does not only benefit me but those who will be positively affected in my life. I seek to be a role model for my sisters, cousins, and all those around me who believe the difficulties of college are just too much for them to bear.

I have gained a better appreciation for those who are working hard to help make the world around us a better place. Especially for families. Honest hard work is something that I look for in everyone and that is how I strive to be 100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the time. If everyone can work hard and be trusted, the economy, world, and ourselves will be a better place. Integrity in the work force is a must and we learn so much of that here at Utah State University. Doing our own work and coming up with our own original ideas is strongly encouraged and expected. It has helped me to think outside of the box more and to be able to set more goals for my future as a student and a future business person. Attending school is very important here because the teachers have so much experience that attending class benefits you a lot more than just for the exams. I have been expected to work hard at school and have done and exceptional job at it spending countless hours studying and furthering my education as swiftly as possible.

I have learned that i shouldn't be intimidated by the unknow but to be inspired of what can be. When you start college you don't know what to expect therefore, you think it's hard ,however, nothing is hard. Everything can be accomplished if done at the approprite time. I feel blessed that i have the opportunity to attend college and show that not only am i going to college but i will be successful in everything i do.
