School: -I like the school size; it's big but I also know and recognize a lot of people around campus. -I like the campus, it's compact and doesn't require too much walking -The best thing about USU in my opinion: tons of opportunities, clubs, activities, events, etc. to be involved with and really belong to the community. Logan, UT: -small farm town, no college town -two bars, that's it. Very friendly people, easy pace of life (not busy/crowded) -Lots of school pride, mostly friendly competitions/"trash talking" -Great school traditions: True Aggie, Homecoming, the Howl, Ultimate Aggie, the list goes on -The most unusual thing, for me, was the College of Agriculture part of the school. Now I love it. The Ag week is awesome, including a tractor parade, BBQs, free food, activities on campus. Most frequent student complaints are: a lack of parking, strict university no-alcohol rules, Logan is too small/too little to do.

I absolutely love Utah State University, it is an incredible university because it not only has amazing academics, but it also has a very fun and inviting environment. The best part about this school is that with whatever major offered the university provides hands on experience from the very start. I would not change anything about this school, but it has everything I need and absolutely everything I want. The school is small enough that it is not an overwhelming atmosphere, but it is big enough that you do not know everyone. There is a ton a school pride, which makes the experience extremely fun because it is balanced between rigorous academics and a fun traditional social environment. I love Utah State University because it is college that offers everything and provides the best college experience.

USU offers the ultimate college experience. True :Logan may be a smaller town, but that just means that everything in the town revolves around the university which creates a great academically based close knit community with a surprising amount of resources to offer. There is so much school spirit on USU's campus, and I love it and could not imagine attending anywhere else.

I absolutely love the location of Utah State University. It is in a smaller city, so you get more of that "small town" feel. The people of the community are very kind and it really is just a cute town. It is great for people who enjoy the outdoors. Bear Lake is less than an hour away, and on the way there are plenty of great hikes, campsites, and a ski resort. Not to mention natural hot springs, and national parks all within a 2 hour drive. And if you are looking for a "big city", Salt Lake City is only an hour and a half away! The size of the school is just right. The campus is pretty small, but in a good way! It only takes about 15 minutes to walk from one side to the other. The library is phenomenal! It's very modern and bright, the same atmosphere is felt throughout the whole campus. It doesn't have that old, dingy, 50's-70's feel that a lot of schools in this area have. The school pride of Utah State is out the wahzoo! Next to Duke, we are known for having the craziest, most pumped fans. Going to games of all sports is a blast, but I prefer the basketball games because they are the loudest, and some of our best cheers happen there! One thing I would change is the technology system. Utah State has been trying to update and renovate it's system, but it still has a few flaws. I'm sure they will be breaking through these within the next few years. I love the classes. I feel comfortable. I feel like I am able to excel, yet I am still pushed by others to become better. I have a very good experiences with all of my professors and many of the programs a very highly ranked in the United States. There is also a high population of international students. This is one of the reasons why I chose this school. I love that atmosphere and the diversity of Utah State. It's more diverse than other schools in Utah, and I love it!

While it is not the best school in the nation for most areas, it is a good school in almost every area. With the economy the way it is, the low tuition cost is something to very carefully consider as well. The school is large enough to have whatever you need for resources, while still small enough that you have a chance to get to know many of your professors.

The best thing about Utah State is the students involvement. Not many universities give their students so much freedom to make things happen. The ability to start clubs, make something a tradition or to plan and hold an event on campus etc is open to any student. One thing I would change is the weather in Logan, Utah. Once the first snow fall happens in November it stays until May and with the canyon winds it is freezing as you would imagine. However the chilly bitterness still doesn't put a damper on school pride. Utah State is the perfect size. Our campus is spread across a perfect size of land with building buildings and walkways. On the main Utah State Logan campus there are roughly 16,000 students. Compared to other universities this is very small but it is just the right amount that when walking on campus you recognize many faces. The greatest thing is that Utah State students are all friends and everyone gets together to hang out. Last thing I'd like to say is about our faculty. They amaze me with how willing they are to help the students. Professors, advisors, administrators etc... are all here for the students.

Utah State is growing and getting more and more majors and minors for you to chose from. The sports here are awesome the basketball games are SO FUN! And the football team is getting better and better. Plus Utah State is good at pretty much all sports weather you like to play or just watch. The professors are awesome here in supporting students in every way that they can. Were the best!
