Great place to attend. I am currently working on my second degree from this college and the ease of financial aid, registration, and teacher availability are also. I have classes online and tech help is 24 hours a day, but the system is has never been down in 1 year. The program completion estimate is very correct.

I think University of West Alabama is a good school but there is room for improvement. Many of the facilities are out of date, but prices for these same buildings increase every year. Housing is unreasonable and each year there is less and less space. The school is affordable when there aren't unnecessary fees added to your tuition.

The University of West Alabama is a fantastic University. UWA is fantastic because it is a small university so that means everyone is familiar with each other. Knowing each other provides a family type environment that makes me like feel I'm at home.

I like the school mainly for the affordable education and great atmosphere. I started attending The University of West Alabama in the fall of 2017 and have not looked back. I really love the help that can be received from professors and the sense of urgency for achieving your goals.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would give positive advice telling them to choose a college that best fits their personality. If they enjoy being away from and love meeting new people then maybe they would like to attend a big college or if they like smaller classrooms and one on one interactions with their professors then they might want to look into a smaller college. I would definiately tell them to tour schools and talk with advisors to see what college their more comfortable with. To make most of their college experience i would tell them to study hard, meet new people, and get involved in the classroom.
