- Being at this school if anything only assisted me with being accepting of other races and sexual preferences. I worked in the Multicultural Center for a year and had to be "Safe-Zone Trained," which trains you to be accepting of the LGBT community. It was a great experience. - I honestly don't think any student would feel out of place at this school. It is so diverse as far as people go. - Students wear all kinds of things to class. I've seen people go in normal, casual clothes. I've seen girls with the smallest skirts walk into my class. I even often see people wearing their pajamas still. It's college! - Different types of students interact all day, every day. It is almost required at this school. - Tables in the Dining Hall - 1: Group of Basketball players 2. Frat Brothers 3. Sorority Girls 4. Students who are in scientific classes (Engineers, Chem and bio students, Dent School students, Pharm students) - Most of the students are from Northern California and Southern California. - Most students at Pacific come from a wealthy background. Tuition at UOP is very high - It seems as though most of the students are politically aware and feel a need to speak their minds. There are plenty of political clubs on campus as well. There is a good mix of parties that they represent. - Students actually did not talk about how much they will earn one day. It kind of keeps everybody a little less worried and nervous about their futures.

it's hard to describe my classmates in one sentence because they're from all over. just as in any college, students come form all over the country and even from other countries so everyone is very unique. i think overall, though, students are very focused on schoolwork because the school is not much of a party school because it's so small. students there are focused and looking towards bright futures. of course, that's not to say they don't have fun. even in a small school, students find plenty of ways to have a good time.

Steven

Everyone is very friendly and studious. I just transferred here, but I hav made a lot of friends already because of how easy going and helpful everyone is. People here are very personable and undertsanding. It is a diverse campus that promotes students to work together and embrace each other's differences. The people here are great to say the very least.
