If I could go back in time I would tell my high school self to think longer about what I want to do as a career and to take a more diverse selection of classes. In high school I did not research my original career choice, graphic designer, very well. Most of my classes were art related. If I would not have waited to go to college, I would have wasted my money. There are not many careers for a graphic designer in my area and the ones that are available do care about having a degree. As I have become older, I have discovered my passion for business and how a business functions. I often find myself saying I would I wish I would have taken my high school’s business classes. They would have prepared me better for college and the career I want, Operations Manager.

My advice that i would give to myself start college early. Also be focused and what I really wanted. Life is going to be complicated with out a carreer. To set up a short term goal and a long term goal. That would be my advice to myself as a senior in highschool.

The advice I would give to my high school self is study hard for the ACT and score a 21 so that I could have many colleges to choose from. Put in applications to colleges eventhough I want to go into the airforce. Always have a plan B just incase plan A dont go as planned. Stay focused on the prize. Times will get hard, but you will survive. Don't party to hard! Set goals for yourself and stick with it. Worry about nothing, Pray about everything!

I would tell myself go to a traditional college. I would also tell myself to finish and go straight through without breaks in between.

I would advise myself to not panic and prepare for college sooner than I previously did. I would also tell myself to stay focused, set goals and then achieve them. Stay on track with course work and use better time management. Interact with people and gain knowledge and resources from them.

Everything is an experience. Do good in school to get go grades and keep intouch with high school friends. In the summer volunteer or get a job. You will do great and remember to go with what you feel is right in your heart. Enjoy your time with friends and family. There will be times of struggle but there is always and answer and help out there if you just ask so don't hesitate.

I was advised while I was still in high school to attend a community college. I wish I would have taken that advice. Most of the courses that I have taken here were not needed but I understand the concept to earn a degree and thats what I wanted. But if I could go back to 1992 when I graduated high school, I would have went to a community college for a few years then graduated with a certificate.

To my younger self I stress the importance of education and the continual necessity of knowledge and a broad exposure to diverse philosophies. The transition from high school to higher learning involves a paradigm shift of thought from learning about history and origins impact on a people or industry, to researching further advancements available as a result of the accomplishment and needs of an advanced people.
Discipline and inquiry are the pillars for academic success in higher learning. Discipline forms the standards and routines that are required to investigate the unknown and persevere for answers where the unknown is prevalent. Through a nature quest to ascertain natural phenomena, inquiry drives continued investigations and a desire to deepen and broaden knowledge and application of the acquired information.

Just stick with it! Times are going to be tough in the years ahead, but you are going to overcome so many trials and tribulations and you may not believe that you can, or want, to make it through but you will! The things that you are confronted with with pass you and youll learn so much from them. You may not realize it at the time, but when you look back at everything, you wil be greatful for everything that you have been put through. Keep going!

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior I would tell myself to work harder and start college right out of high school so that I can start my carreer right away. Having had my kids and now going to school it makes going to school and doing homework that much harder. I would tell myself to really focus on my school work and to do the best I can becuase in college when I put my mind to it I know I can succed in school. I would tell myself that to live as if today was my last day, make sure that I do everything I want to do and save money for school so that I do not have to take out so many loans and have to pay them off for the rest of my life. Lastly I would tell myself to have fun, study hard, and keep focused on my schooling so I can have my dream of owning my own swimming pool company.
