The worst thing would be that the music building (where they practice outside) is right beside the main library. You can most surely hear people doing scales and rpacticing music at any given time during the day. It can be very distracting, no matter if they are good or terrible.

Since I'm fairly new to my school, I haven't run into anything negative. There are great people and wonderful professors. On the other hand, if I had to choose anything, I would say the worst thing about my school is, as mundane as it sounds, its physicalities. From the outside, my school looks a bit unappealing and worn. It has definitely seen better days. I remember saying, "Wow, the community college I went to looked better!" Then again, the campus is older than I am and is rather impressive in all its historical glory.

The worst thing about my school is a lack of fervor and zeal in the students. There is an apathtic atmosphere that is not typical of a college campus.

The pricing of the dorms is slightly ridiculous and high. Start saving up now. The dorms are still nice, though.

The worst thing about the University of North Texas is that there is no program available for undergraduate students to help them prepare themselves for graduate school . While there is a program that can help undergraduates apply for competitive scholarships, there is no program to assist undergraduates in the application process, the expectations of graduate school, or the financial needs of graduate school. It is a difficult, frustrating, and daunting process and there is no organization on campus to assist in these decisions.

The parking lots, they sell three parking passes per parking spot which makes it almost impossible to ever find a parking spot. Also I think someof the buildings could be updated and more handicap friendly, I broke my foot and for some of my classes I couldnt get to the class room because they didn't have ramps or an elevator.

The worst thing about my school is parking, because there are just so many students. UNT's student population has continuously grown, while UNT's property available for parking has not.

I am an online student. My online class experience has been superb. I have attended one on-campus class. During the course of that on-campus class, I had two professors and one teacher assistant for one class. That was very frustrating. From that experience, I think that the university should focus more on the learning experiences of its freshman and sophomore courses.

The University of North Texas, because it is so centrally located in regards to large towns such as Dallas, Fort Worth , and other cities, it is heavy commuter school. Yes, there are many organizations, activities, and people to talk to and do things with, the weekends tend to be very boring and dull. To cope with this aspect of campus life at UNT, it would be wise to find some close friends that you can occupy your time with on the weekends!
