Sadly, I don't know my classmates very well because I've been isolated for a while and have poor social skilles, but in general they seem friendly and helpful.

My classmates in my engineering class I have known for 4 months now. Of course every student is different but the ones that really care about this subject like I do, are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Everyone is always willing to help everyone out because it's information we're all learning for the first time that we want to use in our futures.

UMass Amherst is one of the most diverse school I have ever been to. There is no way to descibe the students in 100 words since UMass caters to every gender, race, sexual orientation, family background there is.
