University of Maine Top Questions

UMaine really is a great place to be. As I have previously mentioned, you can become anyone you wish. Lifelong dreams are accomplished here all the time; UMaine is just waiting to allow you to fulfill yours.

UMaine is what you make of it. If you do not get involved, you may not have as much fun. But, if you get really involved in student life, you will never be bored!

There is so much to do on and off campus I'm rarely bored and there are so many services to help people its truly and amazing university I've really grown as a person thanks to Umaine.

At UMaine, I have met many great people and have had a lot of wonderful opportunities that have inspired me. You really are in a "great place!"

At my school there was a stigma about going to Umaine and in all honesty I did not want to go. But when I visited the campus, I thought it was beautiful and I began to get excited about the activities. I made many friends and I have been very active in the Umaine community. I am glad that I picked this school. Everyone is very friendly.

I think I've said all that I need to say in the preceding comments! I love UMaine!!

Well, speaking of naked... On Earth Day there is a group of people who bike around campus painted green.

I feel safe. I'm never hungry. I'm working towards a degree and an eventual job post-graduation. The res halls are nice and convenient to everything. Teachers are helpful and reachable. I'm never bored. I know so many people here. Out of all the schools I looked at (I applied to seven) UMaine had the best feel and welcomed me without question. I know so many students who went to different schools out of state and transferred back to here and they are so much happier because of it. I feel like I have always belonged here and I always will. I'm almost certain you will feel the same. GO BLACK BEARS!!! GO UMAINE. This is going to sound so corny, but I really am in a great place!
