UK is really diverse. You can find any kind of background at UK. As far as what to wear to class, everything is real casual. Some people dress up but the norm isn't anything special.

My classmates are a lot different from what I was used to in high school. There is great diversity of people in all of the classes. But everyone is pretty much here for the same reason, so no matter what makes us different from each other, we are still the same in some ways. Other than noticing the diversity, I haven’t really talked to many classmates, but the ones I have met, are now my friends and are great.

The students in the class feed off of the professor. For instance everyone listens to every single word Dr. Desantis says while hardly any of my geology class ever shows up for class.

I cannot generalize about the personalities of my classmates because the personalities are so varied. Every student at UK is unique and everyone brings something different to the table.
