Academically, we are the largest liberal arts based research institute in the state. I think we rank in the 50's among U.S. colleges academically.

The University of Georgia is best known for our amazing football team! GO DAWGS! We were ranked first in the pre-season this year and although we've dropped in the rankings we've lost only 1 game out of 7! Everyone at UGA is so spirited and excited about the Bulldogs! There's no one on our campus who isn't proud to be associated with our football team. Our mascot Uga is also well known :)
