University of Central Florida Top Questions

The only thing about this school is the prices of text books. They are robbing us blind. There are off-campus bookstores that are alot cheaper that many students shop at.

I find it hard to say anything negative about my school, but if I had to choose anything that frustrated me it would be probably the waiting period of finical aid. It could be frustrating at times when time is cercal and the waiting period takes a long time.

Though the University of Central Florida is a formidable place to learn, sometimes the capacity to do so is inhibited by timing and spatial restraints. Many classes start within ten to fifteen minutes after the end of previous classes, and for students whose classes are spread across campus, reaching these new classrooms and buildings is sometimes difficult and taxing. Bicycles and skateboards are permitted and helpful, but without the aid of specified bike/skateboard areas differentiated from pedestrian walkways, one is more likely to collide with a pedestrian than make it to class on time.

The most frustrating thing about my school is some professors' teaching style is more of a banking system where they tell us information, we learn and simply restate the answers, rather than having more of a communication with us where we can ask questions and work through different scenarios together.

The parking spaces on campus. If you are coming to school around 11:30AM you will not find a parking spot.

Construction and closing parking garages.

Most frustrating thing about my school is definitely parking services and how they give out $25 and $50 tickets to already struggling students for parking on the grass during the day or in a parking garage over night when they know that the school is over capacity of students and that there is almost no place to park 90{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the time. Also them constantly building of buildings instead of parking garages and lots, making it even harder to find a parking spot.

The most frustrating aspect of my school is finding parking around campus because there are so many other students and faculty arriving at departing at similiar times.
