Texas State has buses that go to Austin and San Antonio for commuters. We have a writing center that helps you with papers. We have on campus pyschiatrists and psychologists that are willing to help you. We have nights escorts for safety. Anything you can think of, you can find it at Texas State.

When I tell about Texas State I usually brag about where it is located first. Texas State is built on hills and it right by the river. We have a park where all the college kids come and swim in the river and play beach volleyball. Also it is located in San Marcos between San Antonio and Austin so you are not in a big city and the population is mostly college students. There is a wide varitey of people for example greek life to the Quidditch team!

Samantha

Personally, I am not a person who likes to brag. I believe that everyone is unique in there own way. I know that I have made great accomplishments in college though, such as making the dean's list both the fall and spring semester. I was involved in my school's hip-hop dance/step team, called Harambee, and part of the Baptist Student Ministry. Although I do all of this, I honestly do not brag. I see no reason in wanting to manipulate people to like me for what I have and not who I am.

Gabriella

I like to tell people how friendly everyone is on the campus, and how it is very easy to make friend. I believe the teachers at Texas State to be very helpful as long as you show that you are willing to learn and speak up they usually help the students in any way possible.
