Tacoma Community College Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about Tacoma Community College? Why?

Alex

The ability to register for classes is lacking at Tacoma Community College. The current system makes it so that anyone that took more classes than another could register for classes much earlier. Classes at TCC are already in high demand and this only makes it more stressful to try to get into the classes that are needed to complete the degree in a timely manner.

Alex

The worst thing about my school is the teaching policies inside the classroom.

Jessica

I don't dislike anything about my school. TCC offers a wide range of courses and career paths. It has just about everything an average student needs to be successful.

Jill

What bothers me most about TCC is the confusing layout of the classroom buildings. Building 29 is right next to building 18 on the west end of campus. Building 17 is on the south-central side of campus. I get so lost sometimes!

Kimberly

The cost of tuition is horrendous. The only way to be able to afford it is through scholarships and grants. To take it one step further, those who are lucky enough to receive said scholarships and grants may only get enough to cover their tuition. Unfortunately, that means they may not have enough money to pay for the required textbooks or supplies for their individual classes.

The worst thing about my school would be that if you need help on work you dont understand you cant stay after school to get help from your teacher. You have to make appoints to go get help. This is the worst thing because you dont have one on one time with your instructor so you have to do the best you can and ask questions. Also its helpful to ask the teacher to repeat what she had instructed you to do.
