At first look, the school and campus does not look like much, but behind that appearance is a great place for someone to start their post-secondary academic career. It is a small, but very a hands on college. It is very easy for me to receive help on any of my assignments, meet new people, and to walk to my classes in a timely manner. I have enjoyed my time here so much and I will treasure it forever.

I liked SCC and it was a good place to get my general class out of the way and not go into debt. The tuition was very reasonable and they have payment plans. Small class sizes and the professors are helpful. As well, you can take most of your classes online.

I love this school. From the courses offered to the price of the classes to the awesome faculty! This school is an all around great place to get an education, make new friends, plan for your future, and be successful! There is always someone to help you make it through here. They care about you being successful.

The school is overall really nice, new buildings and dorms, but what i can say about it is the people are extremely nice here and they always encourage others here. The sporting events are are often big especially basketball: i play volleyball and soccer at the school so i know a lot about it. they don't do a lot of events here, but the environment of this school is always positive.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could go back in time and tak to myself as a senior in high school, I would tell myself to enjoy school and do better at my studies. I would recommend going to college right after high school and not wait until I was in my 30's. That going to college shortly after high school the knowledge is still fresh in your mind and is a lot easier that way. I would tell myself that it is great to do good in school, and that to get a good job you really have to apply yourself. I would tell myself that no matter what I am proud of who I have become today. I would tell myself not to just take the easy classes and to really challenge ourself, that I know we can handle it.
