The most frustrating thing about Santa Fe College is when students do not take classes seriously. For example, sometimes students would sleep in class, or not even show up. Going to college, no matter if it is a prestigous 4-year university or a community college, must have students who are engaged in learning for the career they aim for. If most students put effort into schooling they would get a grade deserving to pass Santa fe. There is already helpful centers that assist students in a wide range of classes, and even have tutors available.

The only frustrating that is at Santa Fe is the atmosphere that everyone is transferring to the University of Florida within two years on average. It sometimes cuts at the college feel of creating bonds and forming lifelong relationships. But it all equals out when you yourself transfer to the larger school for your graduate program.

The most frustrating thing is the lack of organization on the main campus. If you haven't been there before or are trying to find a certain building it can be confusing driving around because the signs are very misleading and ambiguous.

The most frustrating thing about attending school is getting up early and attending to my son after school is over. I regular day for me is getting myself and my son dressed and making sure that I am to the bus before seven a.m. I leave my son home with the sitter and I must be to school by eight a.m. My classes are over by four p.m. and I come home to my son and start any homework or study for any test that I may have. This is usually may frustrating day.

Since parking is an issue here in Gainesville, I though it unwise to use a substantial part of a parking lot to build the Fine Arts building. Also, having been out of high school for over 10 years I feel very out of place being in college with mostly high schoolers enrolled in the dual-enrollment program. I realize that it is a positive thing for those students, but to fill the classrooms up with high schoolers feel a little off to me.

Not enough options when it comes to food.

Santa Fe College is currently making the change from being a community college to a 4 year institution. In this time it is difficult to understand how the school is changing and what we can expect as students in this transition. Otherwise, SFC is moving gradually in the change so that it can be less distracting and more of an pleasant experience for the students and faculty.

The most frustrating thing about this college so far would have to be the run around they give you for their services. Seem like a lot of people working there does not know what they are doing and just tell you to go to another building for the answers. For example the Financial Aid office.
