Makia

The cutting of academic programs because it will discourage and hinder a lot of students and faculty.

Maria

It's so hard to sit down with an Academic Advisor and ask them to help you pick out classes or with anything else for that matter. I was never assigned a "guidance counselor", which made my transition difficult. It's also hard to transfer classes from another school into Rutgers because there is so much paperwork.

Joe

It can sometimes be very daunting balancing academic responsibilites with extracurricular activities.

Csilla

The busing to Busch and Livingston is pretty bad because you often don't get to sit down. I also wish there were more parking spots for commuters.

I feel that Rutgers University doesn't do a good job of promoting itself. Almost everyone I talk to who goes to high school in New Jersey has a very negative view on Rutgers. They think that it's not a very good school and that it is very low on the education quality scale. I certainly felt this way when I was applying to college, but I am grateful I'm here in the end. Rutgers needs to do a better job of promoting itself as a good university so that people have a better opinion of it.

The worst thing I can come up with is most definetly, class size. Lectures can have over 400 students, and smaller classes, close to a 100. I am someone who cant learn unless I ask a million questions and to be honest, office hours aren't enough, and I feel TA's are cheap imations of professors (sorry!). I guess it comes with the fact there are 30,000 students, but they get enough money to fix the situation. Professors are too inaccessible!

Gina

The worst thing is that it is too liberal for a conservative like me and the teachers have a tendecy to enforce their liberal views on their students and manipulate them to think like they do instead of forming their own opinions.
