Quinnipiac is a beautiful campus, but Hamden itself is kind of ghetto. I feel like a lot of people here aren't completely satisfied with their college experience, but more because of the type of people that go here rather than education quality. I feel like it's a good size - the classes are nice and small but you can still meet new people every weekend. We have problems with acceptance and diversity, and are pretty much in a huge bubble with no idea of what's going on in the world. School pride is so-so, depending on who you hang out with.

I think that the most annoying thing about Quinnipiac as living off campus as a senior, is how unwelcoming the rest of the Hamden community is of Quinnipiac students.

Quinnipiac is an experience i will always remember because of the friendships I made and the education I received. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and it just the perfect size to fit in and not feel left out.

I love the campus, its beautiful. Not everyone always knows where/what QU is though. The size is just right. I now live off campus and hate it...on campus is so much better. I think less than 10{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of our students would know our president if they ran smack into him. Administration was RIDICULOUS changing the orientation program. I think that was my recent biggest controversy. We don't have nearly enough school spirit. But I've met amazing people and wouldn't have rather gone to any other school. I love it here!

The best thing about Quinnipiac is the small, welcoming atmosphere. I think it's just the right size because you can recognize faces as you walk to class, but you don't know everyone. I think Quinnipiac's administration is a little too strict because they are trying to maintain a clean reputation. I think the biggest controversy on campus would be the recent use of racial slurs. I feel as though Quinnipiac does not have that much school pride, but it has increased since the TD Banknorth center was built. One experience I'll always remember was becoming a part of Phi Sigma Sigma.

Quinnipiac is actually a great school. I believe i am getting a very good education. The professors and administration really work hard to provide you with a great education. Besides education, I have met a great group of people here. On a different note, the food sucks. I can not wait until next year when I will have a kitchen to cook my own food in. Also, the lottary system for getting a dorm room is extremely inefficient. There are many students left with no room and who are split up from their friends and placed randomly throughout the campus. The surrounding area is nice. very suburban with all the general chain restaurants and stores. New Haven is very close and there is a shuttle running there which is great for going out at night. It is definitely a college scene around here, with Southern CT State University, Yale, University of New Haven, and Quinnipiac all so close to each other. One thing quinnipiac is lacking greatly is school pride. There definitely is not much of that around here, which I kind of wish their was. All in all, it's a pretty great school.

One thing that i would change is the parking situation. It is a hassle to get to you car, and is very time consuming. It is a process and it is not easy, it needs to be revised.

Small accessable nice campus improve on diversity affordablity

I think the school is a good size. The administration apparently wants to make it bigger, but there is no room for that. I commute to campus so I am hardly ever there. Everyone goes into New Haven for food or entertainment and the clubs. There is not a lot of school pride. My freshman year, there was. This year I do not see it at all. Hockey is a big sport at QU and the games usually were packed and sold out instantly my freshman year, but this year, not so much. I think most students are too busy getting wasted and going to clubs to care about school spirit honestly.

Quinnipiac needs to be less worried about its image and more worried about students. The administration needs to care more about students and what they need. The campus needs to be more diverse. Too many white girls.
