The stereotypes about this University are quite true. I am not a huge fan of how conservative this school is. Our President has decided to censor the student run newspaper because of some bad press he received. It is true that the academics here are challenging, this is a good thing, when you get a good grade you know that you have earned it!
The students here are from all different walks of life. There are preppy, snobby kids everywhere you go. Quinnipiac had a bad reputation for having very snobby people, I found this to be false. Obviously there are some people who are snobby yet that is a minority here. Yes, we have a large percentage of female students.

your going to find dumb stuck up girls everywhere, i dont generally think this school is thatt stuck up, great campus

After spending I year here I'd say this isn't necessarily true. There is a general look on the weekend when everyone's going to the clubs, but Quinnipiac has a broader range than it's given credit for.

This is absolutely not true. I am not spoiled, from the upper class, nor do I wear Abercrombie and I am not blonde. At any school you go to there are going to be some students who appear to be spoiled, but there are also students who are ordinary down to earth people.
Rachel
The clothing stereotype is true, but I have never met so many nice people in my life. I actually do not think I have met one "stuck up" person since I've been here.

The school definitley lacks diversity. The kids who go here are wealthy, but not all of them. My roomates and I fit together well because we all grew up in similar households. It is intimidating to be surrounded by rich students and frustrating because most of them do not know what its like to have job and work for what they own because mommy and daddy buy them everything. There are some amazing people on campus however who contribute to the commmunity and their peers. Academically, the school is unbelievable and I wouldnt trade my education here for anything.

I find that this is partly true. I know my family has money, but we are average middle class people, not rich, not poor. However, there are people around campus who walk around with designer everything and hold themselves to be very snobby.
Andrea
Although some people are wealthy, there are people from all walks of life here and most people are very down to earth. It seems that most people do get along though. For the most part, however, the campus is not very diverse. The majority of the campus is white.

overall yes. there is alot of partying and alot of rich kids but everyone can find their niche. Students love their friends and like their teachers but are generally unhappy with the way they are treated by the school. The strong connection to their friends and academics keeps them from transfering due to the treatment from administrators.
