For me, I never really got into much on campus, I did what I needed to get a good grade and worked to pay for school. I can say that I have met a lot of good people in my classes, many of those people coming from my science classes. I feel as if the science department has some of the most intellectual people throughout the school. Many of my friends have goals and are determined to make them happen the same way that I am. It helps too that we most nearly all want to go into Health and helping people. So for us, instead of drinking on Saturday nights, we hike and go to the gym, or we will go out and talk. We may not be the best to go out and "party" with but we know how to have our own fun. We still drive hours upon hours just to see the stars, hike, or visit some place new. We may even be NPC competitors without anyone knowing. The best part about my friends and me, is that we do not act like anyone, we are ourselves and are proud to be us.
