I was in a cultural diversity class my freshman year, and BLM had spread a pamphlet about a "die-in" they were conducting on campus that day. My professor told us that, for a grade, we would either have to participate in this or record it (pictures, video, etc.). The march itself said the white people could not talk to media, shouldn't be on the outside of the march, and shouldn't hold signs. When the class marched out to one of the cultural centers, I simply went back to my dorm room. OSU is great, but they have a tendency to vigorously push a far left agenda.

The most memorable day I've had is when it snowed a few weeks ago. Corvallis doesn't usually get any snow, or if we do, not nearly as much as we did. It made campus gorgeous, and even ended up making classes cancelled for a few days. The only thing I disliked about the snow was that it was so cold!

The first home football game I ever attended as a freshman I will never forget. It was September 25th, 2008 and the Oregon State Beavers were playing the #1 ranked USC Trojans. That was the night that David beat Goliath. From that point on in the 2008 season our football team was know as the GIANT KILLERS! I was at the 50 yard line in the second row. I had never heard a stadium so loud. The game came down to the wire, but in the end the BEAVS brought home a win. Rushing the field was an experience I don't think i could ever replicate in my life. To see the sea of orange comping from all sides of the field toward me was amazing. After the game the town was a wreck. Everyone was celebrating, and the partying went on for days.
