Make sure that you look at as many colleges as possible. If a college just sounds interesting, go see it. It's a great experience and should be experienced with the best feelings life can give. College is a great place to meet people you'll meet for the rest of your life, make sure you take every oportunity to meet new people. Try new things, get involved and have fun, but also make sure to remember that the classes you're taking now and the amount you learn in them will effect what you know in the future, in the field you decide to go into. Make the best of your experience and always think possitively.

The advice I would give to parents and/or students about finding the right college and making the most of the experience is to visit the campus and talk to students that are attending the college. Find out what their oppinions are about the school, what the classes are like, what living on or off campus is like, and things to do at the school. I found it to be the most helpfull thing I did when looking at schools.

Finding the right college you first need to know how you want to live, to you want to be in a big city or a small town, How many students do you want in your classes, if you looking at going to a military oriented school as I have done (Norwich University) then make sure that you respect the military and what they do for us. Making the most of college, learning to balance you social life with your coursework is the very most important you'll get out with a good GPA and friends for life.
