Those persons who should not attend Marquette University are those who do not see the value of interacting with people of different backgrounds than themselves. Part of what makes Marquette the accepting institution that it has become is the attitudes of those students who attend the university. A willingness to be open to, and learn from, other cultures is and essential aspect of a Marquette student.

Marquette offers a wide array of groups that give a person the oppurtunity to give back and have fun well doing it. A person that isn't looking to learn a lot well having a great time doing it should probably not go to Marquette.

The kind of peson who shouldn't attend Marquette University is someone who is not open to a diverse community. The Marquette student body and outskirts of campus are extremely diverse because of the fact that the school is located in a large, downtown city.

I don't think that there is a kind of person who shouldn't attend this school. From what I have seen in the semester that I have been on campus there is always something for everyone to do and there are all types of majors and courses offered that can be picked based on how much work you want to do or what you want to study.

Marquette University has high standards for their students and they expect them to work hard and put forth effort, so this is not the school for students who slack in school work and do not put forth the proper amount of time and effort.

A wonderful aspect of Marquette is the diversity that can be found within its campus. Located in diversified Milwaukee, it is home to every ethnic group, sexual orientation, or economic status. The only qualification one must consider is whether he is willing to expend much energy into his academic career. Those who feel academics are not important to them should not consider attending Marquette, as its classes are challenging and the need for determination is high.
