Marietta college is a great school that has a beautiful campus with historic buildings and well kept green spaces. I love laying out on Harrison Lawn to do some homework! In my experience, the professors are very knowledgeable and are always ready to lend their help. Go Pios!

Eric - 03/15/2020

Marietta College is an okay school. The professors are (generally) friendly. If you have a problem, it's pretty easy to find someone to help fix it for you. There are a lot of resources for students to become involved on campus but it feels like everyone is spread too thin to be effective.

Prabhawa - 01/14/2020

Marietta College is a great college. It will teach you values that are appreciated not only in the USA but in the world. The main thing you will take away from this college are: how to be a leader, and how to unite a diverse group of people working towards a similar goal. The world is rapidly changing and despite some professors, everyone else teaches values and education that will prepare the student for the future. In the world where right and wrong is subjective, and the moral values are ever changing, you or your child will learn how to be a productive member of the society. I was a drop out but I without marietta college values I would be truly lost.

Madison - 03/16/2019

Marietta is a small school. They offer a lot of programs for incoming freshman. I also love how friendly everyone was in helping me to where I needed to go. Although town is a little further then I would like it to be, it’s still very beautiful. This campus is also on the border of Ohio and West Virginia which makes it a lot easier to visit home (WV) on holidays or weekends. Plus there is no out of state tuition, everyone pays the same price.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I have got a lot out of my college experience so far. I have become much more responsible and independent. The teachers treat you like adults and you are forced to grow up quickly. which is a good thing. My abilities get tested every day in class and I am pushed to reach my highest potential. I plan on attending law school after I graduate, a dream that most of my teachers back in high school thought was far-fetched. However, my professors at college incourage my aspirations and give me the confidence I need to be successful in achieving my goal. I have also met some amazing people from all around Ohio, as well as the nation and the world. I wouldn't trade my experience at college for anything.
