To find the right college for you, the biggest thing you should do is go spend some time to view schools for yourself. Do not just get all your information from what the school, or a friend, has told you. I personally feel that if you were to just spend some time on campus, and around the town, that you will get a real picture of what the whole college expiernce is about. If you attend a college that makes you miserable, just so you can get the grades, or make someone happy, then your truly missing out on what may be the best years of your life. So, go out there, see as many schools as you can, and look for a place that you enjoy. Finally, once you find that school, get involved in as many activities as you can handle. Getting involved leads to meeting people, and meeting people leads to friendships, some of which may last a lifetime.

Have your priorites in order is key. What are your priorites when choosing a college and while you attend college, these are important in figureing out where you want to go. The ability to balance these priorites is also important. You don't want to party your way of college but nor do you want to get burned out either by doing nothing but studing. When choosing a major you want something you can make a living at but also something that won't hate your self for showing up at work. The whole college experine from choosing a college to the day you graduate (and possibly beyond but wouldn't know personally) is a balancing act. So find out what you want too do both as a major and extracurricalur your strengths and weakness and pick a college that best suits those needs.
