What do you consider the worst thing about Liberty University? Why?

Elizabeth

Parking and food in the dining hall. The food has improved, but the parking situation has not. To many freshman bring their cars when they don't need to and so many people attend Liberty each year that the school can barely keep up. And they don't with parking.

Compared to schools like the University of Virginia, Liberty is very small. Because of this, we lack many of the resourses like multiple libraries that other larger universities possess. I am a member of the debate team at Liberty. While researching for debate, I often require books that Liberty does not possess, since our library is so small. I believe the lack of resources it the worst thing about Liberty University.

John

Sometimes various events or ideals seemed pressed upon individuals due to strong incentive to be a, "family."

I think the school tends to spend money on unnecessary luxuries, such as the ski slope, the new barnes and nobles, etc., while the dorms on campus are in desperate need of renovation and expansion.

Nicholas

Not nearly enough parking!! Everyone always gets tickets or towed.

Christian

I believe the worst thing about Liberty is the portion of the student body that does not care to learn. Good teacher, administration, facilities, and material can only go so far with a group of people that are lazy and beligerent. There seems to be quite a bit more of this population at LU due to lax admission. Liberty could be stricter on admission policy. I'm pretty sure they let just about anybody in. It takes a lot of credibility away from LU.

How expensive it is. I a poor girl I can't afford it but I have been blessed with money and know God will provide.

Liberty University is extremely conservative politically speaking and not very tolerant of liberal minds. There is curfew, no co-ed dorms or visitors of opposite sex, and quite a few rules including but not limited to guys having to wear collared shirts and not have long hair.
