What's the most frustrating thing about Kalamazoo College?

Michael

Even though my school only has about 1369 students, it can be hard to be place into the class that you want. In addition to this, some classes are not offered every quarter and instead have a cycle that can conflict with a four year academic plan to complete a major, minor or concentration. Despite this incovenience, Kalamazoo College does offer a variety of very interesting class that can be explored when the class that your are seeking is full.

The absolute most frustrating thing about my school is the money! It is ridiculously expensive to go to Kalamazoo College and you either have to be very rich or very poor (which allows you to receive the necessary aid) in order to go without financial struggles.

Erin

The through obsession with getting trashed every weekend. A ritual held by most freshman, atleast.

Jon

The bureaucracy of the administration is frustrating for student organizations who are trying to get things done.

Rachel

I had to switch advisors while on study abroad and I really felt neglected me senior year, but that was a special circumstance.

Not enough diversity of professors

-gossip travels fast and the dating pool is very limited. -also some people can be overzealous about the causes they get behind to the point of impracticality. -there's a huge overemphasis on study abroad. though it's a great program, if you don't go (for any reason) you automatically become a pariah.

Breann

The amount of school work. One really has to be on top of everything and cannot get behind. School has to be your main focus.

Vanessa

The academic schedule doesn't allow out of state students to go home on some breaks.
