Johnson County Community College Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about Johnson County Community College? Why?

Cassidy

The worst thing about Johnson County Community College is that there is no student housing. The people you meet are normally not life long friends because you only see them a couple times a week for a semester. You don't develop life long friendships as much at a community college with no housing.

I'm sure people this a lot, but I can't think of anything bad about my school. If I had to pick something, I would say the out-of-state tuition is a bit pricey. $159 per credit hour. A little expensive, but worth it when it comes to a decent education.

Jamie

The worst thing about my school would be the teachers who aren't organized and make it harder for us to succeed. The ones who don't appreciate the hard work good students do, and treat us all like we aren't worthy of their time. I believe some of the teachers don't seem to care that they are making things harder for those of us who do take our educations seriously. Its like we are being punished.

Petra

Some of the bathrooms are poorly designed. They are small and cramped and hard to navigate, especially with one person going in and another coming out and when both people have backpacks.

Laura

The worst thing about this school are the teachers. I don't feel as though some of the teachers are well educated. A lot of these teachers don't care about their students and their need for learning. People that go to college deserve to have the education that they are paying for.

Monroe

This school does not have one bad thing about it the student body is nice the teachers a great and helpful what more could you ask for.

Rachel

It can be difficult to navigate. The buildings connect inside via skybridges, but they do not connect on every floor and thus can cause confusion if you have never been to JCCC before. It can take a few weeks of class attendance before one can find their way.
