I would advice myself to take advantage of every opportunity academic and extra curricular wise. I say this because having a good academinc background and a nice extra curricular background can set you apart from other students. I would also tell myself to not slack off or take tests and projects lightly because an affected grade can lead to an affected future. I would then tell myself to join as many clubs, sports, and teams as possible because like I said the more you do the marrier your chances you can get schlorships and grants. So I would basically tell myself work hard and never aim for less.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, the advice I would give to myself would be so uplifting. I would first say, "Starlit, make sure you enjoy every moment in Renaissance High School, take your time, join every activity available, learn all that you can and build stronger relationships with faculty. Once high school ends and graduation arrives, there is no turning back. You are preparing phenomenally for your destined, chosen college and financial future." "Starlit, also do not be in such a rush to leave high school. I know the exact emotions that you possibly feel at this time. Create and live in as many awe-inspiring moments as you can. College is entirely a whole, new financial and career-based ball game.College does teach you how to think, but execution thinking starts in high school first." "I strongly advise, you spend more time finding what your purpose is in life or what your dreams are. Do not forget to apply for scholarships and focus on improving yourself, in every way." "You will perform a fantastic job in college, but take my advise and you will be very successful."

I would say don't worry about the money you're going to spend, just focus on yourself an no one else. I know it's hard to admit that your dependency on your family is a big part of why you're where you are today, but a ship at port is always safe, but it wasn't what ships were made for. You need to go and think about what you want to do, not what you want to do for others. Because once you take care of yourself, you'll be able to help those around you thanks to your better fortune. If you could see your older self now you'd see how much has changed and why you need to make those hard choices. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.

For me if i would go back in time to give myself any advice it would be taken AP classes and doing everything to have a good grade in the Act test.

If I could go back and talk to myself I would tell me to study harder to prepare for all the homework and hard work they provide at school. I would also tell myself to be more interested in school and think of what I want to do earlier so that I don't change my mind Million times before I finish school.

Despite what all of your teachers are saying, COLLEGE IS NOT EASIER. Regardless of what you think you know now, there is so much more for you to learn and experience. Belive me when I say "Do what you love, not just what will make you more money" because if you do not follow your heart and your dreams then you will not be successful. Success does not come with money, it comes with what you have truly accomplished in your life. Do not pursue anything that you do not have a passion for because what you decide will follow you for the rest of your life. What you choose today you will have to work really hard at for years, changing your views on it, perfecting it, and making it a part of you. You will face challenges that will make you question whether or not this field is right for you, if someone else deserves this more than you and you will even wonder "Is this all really worth it?" When these questions and doubts arrise, remember that you are an artist and that you need to do what you love, because you love what you do.

I would tell myself that eventhough there will be frustrating times with exams and papers, never give up. Study and keep up with reading everyday. Involve yourself in activities and clubs at the school to make friends and feel a sense of belonging. Buy books a couple of weeks before the semester starts so you can get a jump start on the material. During lectures, take notes to what the professor is saying and to presentations. Create a balance between school, work, and friends. Set priorities and follow them. Keep organized by scheduling the week to allow time to study for tests and write papers around work or other activities. Keep a motivated and positive attitude. Work hard at school to create a better future for yourself and gain knowledge. Believe in yourself and work hard now so it will be easier in the future.

The advice that I would give myself back then is to take school very serious and plan ahead for the future. College is not like high school where you can just skip and everything is handed to you. I would tell myself that in college we have to work to get into those classes because college is not cheap and there's books that need to be bought for those classes. I would teach myself from then how to spend my time and know exactly what I want to do later on in life and what I want to accomplish. I would also tell myself that college can do soo much for a person because with a college education and a degree it can do wonders for you and make life a lot easier.

I would start to think and plan about what I would like to be in the future, ask people who are on that field of work/proffesion the challenges they face, ask my teachers what are my strenghs and weaknesses, ask my friends too, do some reseach about what I want to be in the future, b/c these days we all want to do something that pays better, we take professions that we are not good at, and at the end we make bad workers in that field because we are frustrated.Thats waht I would do.
