06/04/2023One thing that I love about Henry Ford College is the extensive range of academic programs that it offers. Students can explore a wide variety of disciplines such as business, healthcare, arts, science, technology, and many more. Each program is designed to equip students with practical skills, knowledge, and credentials needed to pursue their career goals.
Another aspect that I admire about Henry Ford College is its dedication to supporting student success. The college provides various resources such as academic advising, career counseling, tutoring, and mentorship programs to help students thrive academically and personally. Additionally, the campus is inclusive, welcoming, and celebrates diversity. Students from all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, cultures, and religions are valued and respected at Henry Ford College.
This institution takes pride on promoting cultural competence and inclusivity, with various programs and initiatives aimed at cultivating diversity and respect for different cultures. The college hosts events such as the International Festival, which celebrates different cultures through food, music, and dance. Additionally, there are various student-led groups on campus aimed at supporting and promoting diversity, such as the Muslim Student Association and the Black Student Alliance. It also
have a chance to learn from one another and expand their horizons by interacting with individuals from different backgrounds. This diversity prepares them for the globalized world they will enter after graduation.
Overall, Henry Ford College’s dynamic and it’s progressive community college that prioritizes learning, growth, and innovation. It is ideal for students seeking a high-quality education, supportive community, and meaningful experiences.

04/01/2023I have really loved my time at Henry Ford College and I have excelled here - maintaining a 3.85-4.0 GPA and ranking in the top 10% of my class, even as an adult learner. However, since they do not offer my degree program of choice, I have to transfer to another college to complete the Library Services and Technology Associate in Applied Science degree.

01/21/2023I will say this, I have gotten some wonderful professors and being a part of the honors program is great. The fact that it is affordable is an amazing thing and I really do love how diverse the college is, both students and professors. The thing is, the handicap accessibility at this campus is really quite terrible. I have been fighting to get accessible buildings and have been met with no effort to change. I have been told it would be too much money, and that I shouldn't really worry about it since I will be out of the college by next semester. It has been infuriating for someone who just wants to be able to go to school and live their life without constant issues with just simply getting into buildings. Well, I guess you get what you pay for :|
While I would like to remain anonymous, I do know that if any of you wonderful (not sarcasm I love y'all) HFC Honors people are reading this, I suspect that you will have some clues as to who I am :)

01/14/2023Henry Ford College is definitely a good school beyond my expectations. I am currently a sophomore at the college, but it feels like I have been there for even longer. The atmosphere is always welcoming and there is a nice blend in ethnicity and cultural diversity among the school. The professors are all supportive of their students in academic goals, especially when it pertains to tutoring or necessary improvement on a topic or to obtain the credits, in general. I have never had a professor who wasn't lenient with their class.
The extracurricular activities are very nice, as well. I have a joined a few clubs and organizations at Henry Ford and they are astounding. They welcome you with open arms while catering to your comfort zone or with an icebreaker to become well acquainted with your personality. A very exceptional college, indeed.
