You should not attend Hampton University if you don’t want to be groomed not only as a student, but as an individual. Hampton University makes a conscience effort to prepare its students for life. Friends at neighboring school wore pajamas to class and didn’t own a suit or tie. As a Hampton University freshman you are required to arrive with a black suit, black shoes and white collared shirt. You are prepared to face a world that has high expectations of you. Hampton requires its students to perform and conduct themselves as the best and brightest.

If you are a student that is aspiring a degree in liberal arts I would not recommend Hampton University. Hampton University is a school that mainly focused on business, engineering, and the sciences.

Students that cannot get scholarships to help them pay for the expensive tuition should not attend this school. Students that are not self-motivated in some way should not attend this school.
