Graceland University is a great college. The professors are very reliable, they care about your health and they always encourage you to reach your highest potential and are always willing to help. The people in Lamoni are so kind and generous, everybody knows everybody and they are all friendly. On top of everything, it's a beautiful small town and the scenery is phenomenal.

Maria Luiza - 05/21/2019

I like it a lot. The community is very involved in general and it is a very diverse place. Graceland incentives its students to participate in extra activities such as intercultural events and school events in general. The professors are very helpful and involved with the school as a whole.

Kali - 12/27/2018

Graceland University is a very small close-nit community. Everyone is always so kind and helpful and they always care about you. Professors are always willing to help with any problems the student might have. Food options are very limited on campus and in the town. This is a great college and I highly recommend it!

Ashley - 07/31/2018

I think that Graceland is amazing. We don't have "Greek life" but we do have an all-inclusive hall system so that nobody is left out. We have a lot of athletes but even if you don't play a sport you can play an intramural sport. Another thing I absolutely love is the professors. They know your name and what you need and even if they aren't in their office, you can send them an email and they are always happy to help. I even had a professor try to get me to pursue writing because he thought that I had a natural talent for it even if it wasn't something that I had ever even considered pursuing.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself to take advantage of every opportunity that was offered. Even though i've tried different clubs and events and they weren't always for me, at least I can say that I tried. I have no regrets and I would tell myself to make sure that you always listen to your gut, but don't forget that you should never stop yourself for going out for that team or making those friends because you weren't sure enough of yourself or you were afraid. Live intelligently, but also live adventurously.
