My school was once known as the party school in the South. Now, I find that people recognize Georgia Southern University for more of the educational aspect. We also have a good football team and we all attend and show our spirit every game day.

My school is over 100 years old and is most famous for it's football program. The team has won over 6 national titles. The studends love the team and the games, they tailgate all day and get into the spirit of college football in the south. Our team has many traditions, like riding to the stadium on yellow school buses, certain trails they practice on that teams have been practicing on for decades and rubbing the statue of our most famous coach Erk Russell.

Georgia Southern is best known for its football, school spirit(GO EAGLES!!) and "partying," but GSU is what you make it. There are a lot of good academic programs down here, and people should research it more before making a decision.
