My classmates were the most interesting collection of intelligent, incredibly talented, widely diverse, and overall awesome individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of being around all at the same time.

I love the diversity of Frostburg State University. I engage with international students and learn about their perspectives and cultures. I also find that the students are very knowledgeable about politics. I assume this is do in part to our proximity to Washington, D.C.
Recently, I was afforded the opportunity to attend an off-campus diversity retreat. Here I met a wide variety of students making up many races and backgrounds. Of the students that attended, I learned many moving stories including how a young woman is coping with rape and how a transgender is trying to be recognized despite many challenges internally and externally. It was a fascinating weekend. From it I learned about different demographics and that there is definite beauty in each and every one of us. From these experiences, I can better relate with future students and their families.
I think any student from any background or race will be able to identify with others of similar backgrounds and cultures at Frostburg State University. It such a wonderfully diverse university.

Frostburg has a wide variety of students. I feel like no student would feel out of place at Frostburg because of the diversity and activities.

It's up and down, i'm personally not impressed with a lot of the student body, and most of them will drop out by 2nd year due to drinking and failing or just plain being bored.
I have found a handful of students, at least a couple in every click who have some skills learned from away from campus of course. But I can't help be feel that you'd learn more practical knowledge and skills somewhere else. Right now i haven't been challenged at all. But I'm broke with this loving society of ours so where else am I to go.

My classmates are respectful, nice, and helpful people.

I think my classmates are hardworking, smart, and fun because classmates tend to bond very quickly and work better when they have groupmates.

My classmates are just like me. We come to class ready to learn and help each other. If I do not understand something and my classmate does I can depend on that person to help me out. Finally,I feel my classmates are there for me thick and thin and we go through our UP's and DOWN's together.

They are usually very diverse, intellegent, and hard working young people who tend to be very approachable.
