    I would tell myself that there will be alot of independant decisons I will make. It is important to make the right choices in all areas of college life, right classes, right friends, right school. Another area is to understand the importance of prioritiizing and staying on a good schedule. There are many projects that you face in college and it is of utmost importance to know what needs the most amount of time put into it. Realize that this is a new chapter of life, enjoy it, be wise and have fun.

    FIDM is my guide towards my dreams. It is simply one of the most fun yet highly challenging schools to be in. FIDM will make you work harder and harder to obtain your dreams. As a result, you are left with a great sense of accomplishment and a renewed vigour to persevere for what you want.

  5. Describe your favorite campus traditions.

    FIDM is best known for its wonderful professors and resources. All of the professors hired at FIDM have worked in different fields of fashion and have a knowledge no ordinary teacher learned in graduate school. The resources at my school are unbelievable. Our library contains every bit of fashion knowledge one needs to know andl more. Our career center is also wonderful at helping students find jobs by posting recent job openings every week that us students can access through our FIDM portal.

    Fidm, for me is different from other schools I've considered in terms of previous experience. I want to be a fashion designer, yet I had no knowledge about being a fashion designer. Fidm will give you the foundation you need to learn and start a career. Even with no previous experience or knowledge, Fidm will help you start and finsih.

    The homework here is more time consuming and takes more thought rather than being just busy book work.

    The worst thing about my school is the snootiness that people associate with fashion, which carries into the people around me.

  9. What kind of person should not attend this school?

    The type of person who should not attend this school would be a person who is not passionate about what they want to learn, or do as a future career. This school makes you think outside of the box and challenges you to the best of your ability and beyond. A person who is not dedicated to academics or not interested in opening their creative mind should not attend this school.
