Erskine is an amazing college. They're very warm and welcoming. Everyone on campus wants you to get involved. Our community is also very involved on campus. Erskine is a every safe campus and if you ever do feel unsafe they have ways to make sure you get to your dorm safe. The teachers are amazing and are always willing to help you. Erskine College feels like home.

Raegan - 07/27/2019

Erskine College is a great school with chapel twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Even though it is in a small town, there is so much you can do on campus. The more you involve yourself, the better time you will have at Erskine College. There are so many sports teams with college football games coming in 2020.

Parker - 04/24/2019

My overall opinion on Erskine College is it is very calm and academically productive. A downfall to the campus is the food and ability to go to stores, but overall it is a great place for learning opportunities and athletics. My first day on campus was a shocker because I was expecting great food, but it was not the best. I plan to continue studying here for the next four years.

Madison - 09/07/2018

I am absolutely in love with my college campus. It is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly. and there are so many things to go and do

Erskine College FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Erskine College?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Erskine College is 75%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I have learned through my college experience what it means to be part of a community, to invest in relationships with other people and to be responsible for my words and actions. By taking part in group projects, events, and extracurricular activities, I have found out the value of each individual in a community. If each person does there part, things run smoothly; if someone slacks off, everyone else has to make up for that. Here I have come to value the people I meet, to take the time to really get to know them on more than just the most basic level. Having debates with acquaintainces about topics discussed in class has led to some of my closest friendships. One of the hardest lessons I have had to learn is how to balance my social life with maintaining my grades, (not ot mention getting enough sleep!) but I am slowly making progress. My college experience has been more than gaining knowledge; I am building a network of friends and acquaintances to last a lifetime and learning how to do more than just live in a society by being an active part of it.

  6. What kind of person should attend this school?

A person who is very acadmeically minded and very conservative. You have to be serious about your studies but you can also have fun and find plenty of extracurricular activities to keep you busy. There are liberal people at the college, but the general strain of students at the school are much the same. They are conservative, presbyterian, very Christian, very artsy and outgoing people. There is not a whole lot of racial or ethnic diversity and it is a small school in a rural area so if you are adverse to any of these things I would not go.

  7. What kind of person should not attend this school?

A fake person should not attend here. There are not a large number of people here and if they aren't who they claim to be, everyone will know soon enough and it will alienate them. A person who likes constant partying shouldn't attend here either. Parties usually only happen on the weekends because most people study during the week.

  9. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

The way Erskine gives out AP Credit is annoying. I worked hard in four AP classes in high school, which when one takes them he is supposed to exempt college classes based on his AP exam grade. I made fives on three exams and a four on one, and I only got to exempt Calculus 101, 102, and one semester of chemsitry. I feel that I should be awarded more credit for the hard work I put into taking AP classes in high school.
