Eastern Kentucky University Top Questions

I love EKU, I find it hard to pick out negatives. The parking is not very good at all.

It doesn't get the recognition that the University of Kentucky or University of Louisville do.

There is a system where you can pick who your roommate is going to be, unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way.

The worst thing about Eastern is the on campus housing. Not worth all the money you pay for. It is about $3,000 cheaper to live off campus.

There is always quite a bit of work to do, so you have to make sure you have the time to do it. Don't carry an extra heavy work load and try to go to school.

Class avaliablity.

It tends to be a very liberal campus. This wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that apparently "Freedom of Speech" is limited to being true only if you agree with their points of view. Otherwise, you will be shut down almost immediately.

The avalibility of on campus jobs is terrible. I have money problems and really need an on campus job because my car is unreliable!

Parking is the worst thing bout campus. Too many drivers and not enough parking, it honestly effect people class attendance.

That most of the fraternities and sororites drink a lot.
