I believe Crafton Hills College is a very great Junior College. They are very up to date on all technology and the cleanliness of the buildings is amazing. The faculty and staff are all very nice and joyful to converse with. The student store is very nice inside and they also sell delicious food.

I love the small-town community feeling. Professors are helpful and everyone has been very kind. Lots of resources and it seems like they just want to help students succeed and meet their goals. This is my first year and I wasn't ready to attend a 4 year, so I opted for our local community college. I am not disappointed. They have exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to each class. I love how we can pick our own schedules and with my schedule, I have Fridays off. This is great because I can work and make a little extra money. So far, I am enjoying the college life experience.

Changwe - 12/14/2021

It's a really good community college that offers a good college experience.

Kyle - 02/06/2020

It is an accessible campus that has some great classes. There are some newer buildings and all staff and professors are very helpful. The ground are kept up which makes the campus look nice. Not much options for food, but it is close to nearby restaurants.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

The very first thing I would tell myself, would be a list teachers. Directing myself who and whom not to take. Second, I would heed warning about the construction that takes place, as well as the dreadful parking situation. In addition I would give myself hints as to what certain professors are looking for, to aid my success and perhaps decrease the stress level. Lastly, I would tell myself to simply follow my mind. I have no regrets concerning my college life up till now, so I would want myself to do exactly what I would normally do. Everything happens for a reason, so I wouldn't want to chance altering my path, but just trying to avoid a few bumps in the road.

The most frustrating thing about Crafton is the lack of listening to the students and facilty from the administration. There have been many times that things have been put to vote, voted against, and the administration did it anyways. That does not help unite the students and faculty, and it makes us feel like we can't make a difference.

Finally, the clubs help strenghen our social relationships with our peers, and the Psychology club helps us students present research at academic conferences.

The best part about Crafton is that the campus and classroom sizes are smalle enough for the teachers to truly teach the students. 10. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worse thing about Crafton Hills College, is that there are people there, who really don't want to be there. They do not take the classes seriously, nor do they take the time to do the work. They treat it like it's nothing more than the 'thirteenth grade', just another year after high school. Another thing i do not like about Crafton Hills: Is that the class rooms caps, is a high number. I like the idea of having smaller classes, which equal more one-on-one time with the students.
