CCRI is a great school to save money for your first several years of college, especially to get general classes out of the way. Many of the professors will always be willing to help, and want you to succeed. The food options and accessibility around campus are wonderful, and many classrooms and professors make amazing accommodations to those who need them. The college advisors around campus are plagued with so many students that help is scarce and many mistakes are made, from simple to extreme, such as miscounting student's remaining credits, degree evaluations, etc.

LACEY - 05/29/2024

CCRI is my 1st year attending the school, I took my GED a while back.

Eve - 02/22/2022

I like the college and I think it educates its students well. I am extremely blessed in that I am getting almost a full ride at the college and even regular tuition is very affordable. It is very good for the price that is paid. I think there are many opportunities for many as the acceptance rate is %100 and there is a very accepting and diverse student/teacher body.

Alyssa - 06/26/2020

I came into this school expecting little. After attending for a year, I was very pleased with the school. I learned a lot in only a year and was eager to try. The teachers were always available for after hours, and some let me catch up when I needed to.

  4. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

Half of the classes I want to take are not transferrable to other local colleges or universities. So the fact that most student attend CCRI to do their general requirements, CCRI should work more alongside other colleges to assure students that the money they pay for their college classes isn't useless.

  7. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

I brag most about how even though I'm going to a community college and I am paying the community college tuition I have professors who teach at the university level. I have professors who are great at their job and treat CCRI like a university but, are able to offer more help to each individual student because they teach a small community college class instead of a hall full of students.

What is so nice about a Community College is that even though you are older you do not feel uncomfortable there.
