Greek life. DZ. Yes. Only popular if there is a tailgate. THe dating scene is primarily the bar which isnt great. My closest friends are my roomates from freshman year and my sorority sisters. I am usually studying. Homecoming and CMU vs WMU games. People party of most of the week.. or only on weekends.. or not at all it varies. Greek life is very important. Last weekend I had Greek week. You can hang out in your apartment, lay in bed, watch movies, go to the movies, go out to dinner, etc.

I hang out with friends on weekends...I'm not pressured to drink because I make it clear that I'm not into it...

The 'big thing' to do on campus is to go Greek. I am involved in a sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta. It gives me the opportunity to make new friends, network, and make the most of my college experience. In the beginning of the semester, many students leave their doors open, but not so much later because school gets very intense. Football games are extremely popular to go to. I met my closest friends from my residence hall and my sorority. Homecoming is a big event at CMU. At 2a.m. on a Tuesday, I would be studying. People party often at CMU. Frats/Sororities are a high part of the social scene.

The social life at central is pretty active. I know that in my residence hall, every door leaves their room open and we all spent the majority of our time hanging out. There are many groups to get involved in and there is definitely something for everyone.

I am involved with Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. It is a social sorority. In the underclassman dorms, a lot more people leave their doors open. The more upperclassman dorms leave their doors closed more often. Football games are the most popular athletic events. Basketball and other sports are less popular. I think people party VERY often. Every weekend and occasionally those few that do during a few days out of the week.

Some popular groups on campus are Greeks, On the Fly and program board, SAPA, etc. Some students leave their door open but it depends on each hall and floor. I meet my closest friends on campus from my dorm room

I love my sorority. They are my closest friends on campus. There are always a lot of parties going on, but usually only on the weekends. I am not a big partier... I do drink occasionally, but never a whole lot. There are many other things on campus that can keep you busy to avoid drinking every night.

Amazing school for activities and social life, everyone has a good time. Joining a fraternity or sorority is one of the best decisions you can make. But our own student life department (and the city!) seems like they're fighting as hard as they can to get rid of them. It's ridiculous, as everyone I've ever met from a greek organization, all say they have gained so many interpersonal skills, social skills, management skills, the list is endless on what you have to gain being in a greek organization.

The campus is less than 10{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} Greek. However, I highly suggest joining a sorority or fraternity. Members not only develop leadership skills in their own chapters, but are also the leaders on campus.

There are a ton of organizations on campus. There are a lot of pre- clubs, pre PA, PT, etc. There are leadership, diversity and social fraternities and sororities that make up a small population of campus. Football games are the main social events during the fall. People do party a lot, but people also do a lot of other things, like things to help the community and jobs, etc.
