If you are not willing to put forth the effort to get a good grade then this university might not be for you. Whoever has an idea of college having to be a fun party experience rather than a hard working, challenging experience than you shouldn't attent this school.

I feel like this school is very well rounded with all kinds of people. But this school is a commuter school, so we have many people communiting to school and are only here for a few years and then leave to finish their degrees. It is not a huge party school, and it not well known for any one sport. The school spirit is not as all around with all the students. So if a person is looking for a more quiet city, this is the place for them.

The type of person that should not attend this school are students who are not motivated to do any work. This school is every degree requires a lot of work, time, and effort to maintain a high gpa. Also people who are only about partying will not get by or able to pass school courses. Majority of classes that are offered at this school take role, and in order to pass the class attendance is mandatory.

I don't think there is anyone who shouldn't attend this school. The only people would be the ones who are not interested in getting an education.

Students who are not interested in attending a college that encourages school spirit, loyalty to athletic teams, and involvement in the community should not attend this school. CSUF is heavily endorsed by all alumni, most of whom live in the surrounding community. Loyalty to the school is very strong and creates a unified community. The business and agriculture programs are extremely well-known nationally, and the music and theatre departments are locally supported. Athletics are heavily endorsed but academics are strongly pushed as well. Those who want to attend an extremely small or large school shouldn't consider this school.
